My friend caught this 14kg Sand ray today afternoon from a beach. Surf rod is Penn PPT Sidewinder 13.6ft and Reel is Abu 10000C. Bait is fresh sotong caught last night.

Ya…every year the catch is reducing. Especially the place call bedok jetty. This year so far there isn’t any big ray caught. But luckily, there are some good catch at the beaches. Think the ray move nearer to the shore. Like this one it was caught only about 50 meter away on a good incoming tide.
