I was at this pond last Sat from 11am till 3pm. Bring back 1 pacu, 1 rohu and 2 talapia. 1 rohu and few talapia I just C&R jer. Anglers Lounge shall be my ‘persinggahan wajib’ everytime I went back to my mother in law house at Dengkil. Syiok wooo…

went to anglers lounge yesterday with a friend. we landed six pacus and one rohu in 2 hours… not bad lah that place… the owner just put a new batch of fish… the pacus went flyin everytime they got hooked!! huhuhu

Last Saturday was no luck la! I went there at about 12.15 noon. Sadly, half of the pond was covered with greenish kind of ‘mud’. I can say its lumut la. I got 1 pacu from my frist umpan, but thats it. No more fish wanna eat my bait after that.
Anybody been to Buah lately. I enjoyed fishing there quite a while back and would be glad to hear of any latest news on the catch. Yup, those days the Pacu and Rohu fight and jump all over the pond upon hooked. Also the atmosphere is fantastic - quite and very peaceful.
Please, anybody who has been there lately, please tell if the place is still operating and are they stocking on the fishes.

I was starting to think that nobody in the forum goes to Buah anymore. Nice to hear that the fishes are biting again.
So are Pacu taking the pallets floating or via bottom fishing.
When I was there about 1.5yrs ago we can get about 10 pacu and 5 rohu. And I think because the pond is quite deep at certain area, the fish spool you line right and left. Plenty of thrill lah. But just like any pond, Pacu especially goes off the bite and only occasionally goes crazy.
But actually what I enjoyed most was sitting under the shady durian tree. Very peaceful especially on weekdays.Will visit again when the weather improves and hope to see you there.
How was the crowd when you were there on a Sunday?

i went to the dmahkota pond..
REALLY slow la the bite there
but then..got one take..in 3 hours..and that take made my rod and reel terjun kolam..
lucky got one nice man pinjam me his rod to retrive back my rod..
lucky can find back my rod and reel or else sakit gigi..
u from UPM? i from there one. fished in bukit ekspo before. my koku gt fishing. the competition was a patin..about 1 m or longer ..the landing net also tak muat.
i went there kena sebarau, PBs, haruans, keli and talapia..
but for those who wanna drool at those fishes, im sorry..no fishing allowed 
that means the SS pond opens only from 8am-12pm?
so weird hours one…i will check it out..do u mind drawin me the map to it..as i remembered SMK SS there is a public pond..i used to flyfish there but ended up all kena ikan bandaraya..but gt ppl naik haruans..not fair!

It had officially opened for fishing for the last two weeks. I went there yesterday (22 March 2009) Sunday and the results was very satisfying. I got total of 20 hookups consist of Rohu mainly and some Pacu plus one Patin. The environment seems still the same as before and the pond management had added new stock of fishes mainly Rohu. I couldn’t get the picture uploaded to poison u all as forgot to bring the camera yesterday.

As for bait, I just used the Gardenia Bread (Frankfurter Bread/ Hotdog bread)! Quite difficult to get this bread nowadays.Very seldom we see this type of bread been sold in kedai runcit. no additives added. Quite surprising right.BTW I had been observed u n ur team progressed in FV on hooking up the Plabuks. However, I also had been to FV twice and the results was very satisfying. Last visit, I got total of 6 Black Carp averaging 8Kg each just by using Bread. But this one with secret receipe. heheheh.

Bro Jo, I used to love fishing Pacus in Kolam Khabib (20 mins from our house), but the worker told me they have not been adding any stock for last 1 year, no wonder their business is bad now ! Do you fish on daytime or night ? Weekdays or Weekend ? Fresh or Sea water fishes ?
