My wife told me the “mee hun ker” at the place you mention is very famous & delicious but she dunno the exact location. Arranging with my sis in law to bring me there. U need photos as well?

Went back to Ipoh during Ching Ming Festival,

Ayam Garam AUN KHENG LIM

A must try dish, nicely price at RM16 per chick. Make sure that you book in advance especially on Sat, Sun, PH & School holidays.

11.00am to 6.00pm Daily.

Can keep in refrigerator for a week max. This is the best so far I have eaten.

Main : 24, Jalan Theatre, 30300, Ipoh, Perak
Tel : 05-2542998 Fax : 2542198

Branch : 75, Laluan Tasek Perdana, Medan Tasek Perdana, Ipoh.
HP - 012-533 4993

Restoran FOH SAN - Dim Sum

Very famous Dim Sum restaurant and now shifted to new place same row as Excelsior Hotel.

51, Leong Sin Nam, 30300, Ipoh Perak
05- 254 0308 (6.30am to 2.00pm Daily)
fohsanip@yahoo.com.

Price reasonable, taste & freshness maintain & 5% Service charge but a big let down on the “Chee Cheong Fun” at RM5 per plate, lost the aura. Chinese tea pricing is on “per head”. RM4 for “Char Wang” (King of Tea)… per person… imagine if u r 4person. end up RM16 per person.

I ate kelah hijau the other day.. I've eaten it before a long time ago.. That time I didn't know it was kelah.. Their scales are very big, so they normally deep fry the scales till crispy.. The price of the kelah hijau is similar to soon hock.. meat is softer than soon hook, taste not bad, but more bones..
