Restaurant Honey Honey Grill

Corner Lot, Jln Jurureka at Glenmarie, Shah Alam. Opposite the open car park.

Good service, nice ambient.. did not check the toilet this time.

F&B… so so only…

Set of Daging & Udang.. the rice … errr rather err mind the boss to change to better type of rice.. coarse, “skinny” and plain. Or is this some kind of Higher Status rice? The beef a bit over cooked but the 3 prawns nicely done.

Mushroom soup .. SPICY mushroom soup.. This one kinda weird but it is OK.

The best is still the POPIAH.. still crunchy after 30mins.. chili sauce a bit letdown..

Watermelon juice… Can they replace the blender too..

Bradpek,

You know what they say about food being crunchy even after a period of time? Most probably fried with plastic straws in the oil! Something our locals learn’t from the Thais and have being using it for some goreng pisang, lekor, etc by some unscrupulous food vendors!

Yes, added “ingredient” to make the food stay crunchy ! In Cameron Highland one orang asli stall pour the oil into the kuali to goreng pisang. After the oil is heated up, they first put in the plastic oil container and melt it before goreng the pisang !

What a way to reduce plastics container to harm the environment ! Nowadays, very scared to buy goreng pisang

Hahahaha.. Thanks RR Bro & Weng Bro..

I cant complained much on the crunchy popiah. I just ate 2 of it. Opps I forget to check my excrement this morning, no wonder I had “delay” output. Maybe due to the “plastic”.

Actually, that’s not the only unethical things these guys do. Hear about the stall that has abundance of fish meat in its asam laksa soup? Take a wild guess what that the “fish” is made of?

…shredded tissue paper![:D]

And what about dark green peas?..its actually brown peas (which are cheaper) dyed green!

Sigh, to think what these guys do to get a few ringgit more![}:)]

Dak galbi

Dak galbi
Korean name
Hangul #45805;#44040;#48708;
Hanja none
Revised Romanization dak galbi
McCune¨CReischauer tak kalbi
Dak galbi, also romanized dalk galbi, is a popular South Korean dish generally made by stir-frying marinated diced chicken in a gochujang (chili pepper paste) based sauce, and sliced cabbage, sweet potato, scallions, onions and tteok (rice cake) together on a hot plate. It is a local specialty food for the city of Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, where dak galbi originates. Because of its origin, the dish is also called Chuncheon dak galbi.

It is said that dak galbi appeared after the late 1960s as an inexpensive anju (food that is eaten while drinking) in small taverns, on the outskirts of the city to replace the rather expensive gui dishes which are grilled over charcoal. The dish has spread to the main districts of Chuncheon, where the livestock industry thrives and soldiers who serve their military service frequently visit on leave.

It is also a popular dish for university students who are on a low budget, as dak galbi is relatively cheap and served in abundance.[2] It earned the nickname “commoners’ galbi” or “university student’s galbi” back in the 1970s.

The city of Chuncheon has held an annual autumn festival dedicated to dak galbi since 2005.
