20K of lures arent that bad… considering i accumulate it over my 13 years of fishing… look down there my signature, i really did fish for 13 years edi
tat’s bout 1.4k a year… which… i think every true angler do spend, perhaps more, much more in your case
but the bottomline is, i use em… like u… just tat i don;t throw 60-150usd lure into the water because i don;t own any that cost that much

by 80 i think i probably would spend more than tat la, provided i got the income la hahaha… however prolly not tat many rods la i do not get a few rod with similar spec like u, do not have that kinda money ma sigh
the FV part is kinda amusing… since i spend lil time there only, tat also if someone ask me to go n when i have no choice such as time constraint.
evidently my pic doesnt portray me in only a single place, in this case FV. But many many other places and fishes, and using great variety of lures(including those many others afraid to use, 4cm fat rap, island ori, ristoes). Well i think for this case, yea bad idea to follow if someone afraid to throw their precious lil lures
one thing is for sure, i would love to spend and fish in more places if time and cash permits. But if i couldn’t, i do not think tat it’s a very bad idea to fish more often in front of my house because i can save up for lesser trip than many others and still capable of feeding myself and family and giving them the right education, shelter and living. Because i have a nice fishing ground smack right in front of me ofcos
if all else fail… i’m still fishing and would still continue fishing and enjoying it the way i like it to be and am proud of it too!

acheong bro, no such thing as cq51xt only calcutta51xt, apart from it’s lighter weight at 195grams, there isnt any difference in palming profile compared to a 205gram conquest51/51s. unless if u r talking about calcutta 51, then maybe it’s much smaller without the outward buldging gear box, but it’s 210grams… i only have cq51 and calcutta 51, not sure how the rest cast. time to hijack gerard’s 51s
