No haven’t been going there as the biting rate is poor the last I visit there. I fish a lot less nowadays, mainly because Angler’s Lounge fish do not wish to play with us anymore. Now on some Saturdays, I go to Kundang Big Boss pond to fish (due to close proximity). But still not as fun as Angler’s Lounge. Maybe I should join you guys in Fish Valley RM5 pond. Should have a lot more action there

SP, for your info, 2lb mono line doesn’t mean you can’t hook and land bigger fish. As RK advised, think further. I personally use 2lb ultra thin and hooked and landed 2-3kg of kelis before. Am not boosting myself but for your info don’t just brag about every little thing.
By the way, if I were you, I would just release the poor fishes back to the pond immediately rather than having them to be photo. I am sure you caught bigger fish than these. Unless otherwise then I have no further comment.

Speaking about the fish,what matters if its a 3 kgs fish or 100 gram fish? What matters is it is landed on 15lbs line or 50 lbs line? What matters if its a tilapia or tapah? What matters is that it was caught on rod and line.This is a angling fishing report section and I find no reason why I should not post it here</font id=“size3”>.I have seen some reports of fish smaller than mine in this forum and will post the url.Why aren’t you saying that forumer is bragging?
The fish is a Peacock Bass.Peacock Bass is an inasive alien species in our water and need to be get rid of.In CWS,there is a rule that all fish except Peacock Bass must be released.So as an ethical and rule complying angler I did not release the fishes.I’m against the alien fish species in Malaysia and I’m doing what I think is right.

consider this:
I bring my kids fishing at FV RM5 pond, I use 20lbs line to catch …100lbs tiang kayu! [:D] one good hearted brother then help me unhook the 100lbs tiang kayu n retrieve my bengkok hook. No time to even bring out the digi-cam to snap the ‘one that got away’!
now planning how to go back n catch a real fish instead of a tiang kayu[:o)]
