Expert Graphite

what do u all know about this brand of rods? local brand, but made ‘overseas’? any inside news on these rods to share?

saw their rod ranges increasing recently, must be due to good demand and market response.

some of their rods look decent, and with the price tag as well. some are ‘over-done’, but i guess they are trying to cater to a wider audience.

personally have an interest in one of their new rods.

i’m sure there are well-informed people in here :stuck_out_tongue:

Some say they’re high-end Eupro. Same like Lemax and *****… Their rods are nice, for the price with fuji seat, fuji guides included. A friend is using Expert Ares and so far i can say it’s a good rod.

line poundage 10-20,
length 6’6’’
got other spec like 2 piece and shorter version
..quite a splendid rod with a radical design for the price(for me since i used it for toman..but didnt get any toman last weekend to test the POWER..haha).btw the rod using Fuji ACS reel seat but i dont really sure about the line guide whether fuji or what..if i got the time i just upload the pic or just view this pic

looks good… how much bros? where to get

How’s the performance?

Novice angler here, any constructive advices greatly appreciated. Thank you

mr ft…
the looks make me wanting them so badly, didnt wait to buy it since got xtra money
tjs…
i bought it rm215, but the other person got around rm200..got taxes from the shop[:p][:p] about the performance, quite ok if u use it for toman since it feels very tough..but the the handle can be slippery when gets really wet(not an EVA or Cork but looks alike carbon fibre, not sure about the material, maybe plastic) but now i’m sure the guides are fuji’s

Now tat’s quite cool for the price… thanks shahril bro

Would think bout it for the price point and the components… perhaps i just change it to cork or something but if the blank and performance(is the guide placing too) is good… then wouldnt mind it… it looks just perfect for my Morrum Hi-speed SX.

the grips are carbon fibre with a coat of clear rubberised material. similar to the ones seen here: http://www.tackletour.com/reviewicast2008okuma.html

Hmmm… true also FT bro… perhaps i just cover it with the rubber wrap… forgot wat it called, neh the one u intro heat then it shrink wrap the rod handle, n not slippery one… wat do u think about it bro???

Sigh, dunno y la bro… everytime i wanna get low profile or get low profile sure got sh!t happens one u know… everytime i save up for a nice low profile, then the review get me all mix up and unable to choose which one cos none fits my criteria perfectly… worstly i end up with another round and another round bc over n over again lol… now i hav 5 reels, as u know all are rounds sigh…

The first bc for me is actually a low profile, however due to zero experience on it i end up wrecking the banax big time!!! then there was this one time i decided to get real tough on my decision to get low, so i get a premium revo(those day standard la), i got myself a revo elite… and within the next 2 weeks and 3rd usage i lost it to some FV fishes… how lahhh, jinx la hahaha

Btw i edi expect one big and hefty ang pow from u bro, no worries… hahahhahahahahahha

If you’re looking to to explore low profile BC reels, the good reel choices to start are the Shimano Bass Rise and Bass One XT. if you’re new to low profile reels, you can forget about performance models for the time being and explore either of the above. I learned some of my BC basic using a Bass Rise on the early days. Believe me, you can’t go wrong with any one of the two as suggested [;)]
