Did Fenwick introduced the new HMG ? How’s the performance compare to the old ones. Am looking for the old version 7 footer HMG for a friend and wonder we still can get it locally.

btw weng, fenwick did reintroduce HMG. and before this there’s at least 2 old HMG so which one u looking for? tell me wat the old guides looks like and i’ll know which one u want. And yes you still can find them locally, but one thing, it’s gonna be rare!

But he dont know what type of guides. He just want the older versions, not the current version. I guess as long as not the new ones, he will take it.

Have not been to Kepong Tackle for months. Will take a look there. The last time I went there (maybe 6 months ago), there wasn’t any HMG left. HMX and Eagle GT there are quite a number. I called up Ah Boy and there is 1 6’6" one left. No more 7’

Yea Kepong Tackle has a few new 2012 HMGs 7 footer and 6 1/2 as well. It is black in colour, compared to the red colour for the old version. The new one feels nice, but has an ugly handle (IMO). My friend still prefer the old ones and didn’t buy the new one.
