Departure time to fist spot : 8.00am
Arrival time at first spot : 8.45am
Number of anglers on board : 6 person
Type of bite using : life prawn,tampan and crab
Wave height : 0.5m - 1m
10 ebeks sucessfully landed at the first spot from 9.30am to 11.00am. But those ebeks landed are not big. Bites used as life prawn and tampan. Only 1 ebek was catch by using life prawn!!!
11.00am boatman sucessed to change spot, boat was travel about 800m right of first spot. Sounder was “calling” constantly and showing fish at bottom. Fenzy time start from 11.30am to 2.00pm. A lot of fish been landed (refer photo). Due to unexpected catches and wheather condition, fishing mission end on 3.00pm.

That is a really great catch. I have to note that the average size seems to be getting smaller. I fished with Ikan Masin around this time 2 years ago with much the same results, but the Ebek were on average much larger, about 6-8Kg average caught on jigs, up to 10 on mantis prawn. I hope they aren’t in decline, haven’t seen a golden (Old veteran)Ebek in a long time.

we did’t bring any squid snook hunter. and also no time to look for squid. anywhere the boat did’t park on top of coral if not i think we can catch more variety fish.
