Nice Herring! They are also called Lady Fish and Tenpounder. Difficult to hook up and keep on - we’ve had many takes, but few landed on the kayaks. My friend caught a big one on the yak last weekend..

The fish is sweet, eat like you are eating a good lady and slooowly, if you eat it too fast, you will get choked by the forked bones.

Haha…U are right…It should be call Bandang. I forgot about it malay name and when I ask a guy here he say ikan susu. Actually ikan susu is milk fish which is small like a bait fish where angler use it for pond fishing.

Haha..that a good one. I wonder how can it call lady fish when it has so many bones. Here we always deep fry it then eat slowly. For this fish I gave it away to a friend.
