Hi Distance Surfcasting Group (DSG) brothers,

Nice to hear from you guys down here again especially Y and Ozzy and good to hear that you guys are also actively doing sports casting now.

I was actually pretty worried that lesser of you guys were turning up for the few recent distance casting competitions held here especially Y and Ozzy…he he.

On the other hand, new DSG members did come which was really cool lah…like “adik Danny” was a big surprise for us, what a talent!

Do share with us here if you guys have any tips for us to break Edi’s 220m record…he he.

Bro Aznaff,

Most of us here are still active in casting. Would love very much to meet you guys again during tourney but sometime work schedule doesn’t allow us to go when the dates coincide. God permits, will definitely try to go for the next tourney if the dates is OK with work schedule. As for Y, he will only go when I go la. Manja la dia sekarang. He is in the process of rediscovering himself la. I’m always behind him at the field la. Hehe

No secret receipe la to break that 220m. The only thing that breaks will be my pinggang da. Cheers

Hi Aznaff and the rest of the Gangs ,

Sory lah for keeping quiet sejak 2 menjak , busy lah for my part , and with the introduction of another new family members early this year ( skrg dah 4 tau [:D][:D] ) , lagi lagi lah additional busy … , anyway , baby pun dah besar sikit so now a bit better lah , for the past 2 - 3 mths its totally casting , have to start from basic lah brudder ( sedih ) [:(], everything forget and haywire sudah …

Btw , not only Adik Danny je kita ada , there’s few new guys jugak yg ada potential which have been following us too …[:)]

Y,

I presume you are still using the beast rod (Greys 300T)?

Is your reel using the customised magnetic system?

What pendulum style are you using now, I heard you’ve changed style?

Very unfortunate 4 that beast rod ( Pz 300T ), how many times dah kasi warning but still sama , tak nak lembut , so OUF it goes …[:D][:D]

Since family dah besar , reels pun never change , same like b4 jugak , the besi buruk Mag Elite ..[:(][:(]

Change style ? If kena change pampers selalu tu …[:D][:D] Sory Bro , gurau2 je , nothing new actually , still the same flat arc ..[:)]

Hi myapology,

Would be nice to have new people joining us casting actually.

Do come and join us, Onn and I usually without fail do some casting every Saturday and Sunday.

Venue is at Bukit Mahkota and time is around 8.00am. Let me know if you want to come…we’ll be casting also this weekend.

Hope to see you, just bring your stuff and cast with us.

Sure…please come, the more the merrier!

Don’t worry about your equipment lah, everybody start casting with rod cap ayam what, only when you are sure you are hooked with the sport would you be poisoned to buy specialised tackles!!!
