Thanks Bang Patin for your company the last couple of fishing sessions. As usual you bring me more than my share of luck [8D]. I should’ve weighed that Patin…was too lazy to carry it to the pondok.
Went on Sat. There must have been some competition going on, saw some guys with hampers on the table. There were 3 groups that were catching Pacu’s like no one’s business. The only thing i caught (or smacked to be precise) was 7 mozzies. Bread didn’t seem to whet any appetites. Very sad to see the water level though, i remember back when it used to rain the grandstand would be flooded.
When the buying stops…the wife will be happy

Ya i was there that day too, was really noisy, but its good to see fishes being caught. I’m kinda sad to see the water level the way it is too. I’ve never experienced a pond drying up before.

laguna seems like not packed as usual la bang patin.how ever,the water level is going up again (finally)..
i stop bottom fishing (pay pond fishing mostly) for a while..losing my touch on mixing the bait flavour already.lol.

Hi BP, was wondering what happened to you. Haven’t been to Laguna myself for a month or so, tied up with work. Yes, last time I was there water level going up slowly. So when you going?
Hey Chris! How are you! Still a regular at laguna? Post some pics for me to drool la. haha. Ever since i shifted, not much fishing going on for me. For the past few months, the rods have been sitting at the back of my closet. 
I only think about fishing on 3 days: yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

Long time to hear bro, I miss our Laguna outings, especially the mini adventures we had near the pisang tree area. I haven’t been there for a long time, busy with work & family. My fishing passion will re-ignite soon I’m sure. For now, my rods are collecting dust also.

Who told you the lies that my fishing license being compounded by my Home Minister? I shifted my fishing place only since you hardly free for laguna “mosquito coil light” dinner.
I fully agreed with you as long as Mahaguru Bang Patin is not there, the “frenzy scenario disminish”… Pass by Laguna today, the latest ongoing construction gives me an impression that Laguna being redevelop..

Thanks for asking. I am not well lately..infact just been discharged from a local medical centre here in Kedah…to celebrate Hari Raya . May go in again after that. It was just the old ‘penyakit’ revisited after lapse of 2 years. Nothing much to worry about now accept forking out high monthly bill for ubat for the next 2 years..urgghh!!!.
I was at Laguna sometime mid July..managed to wet my line for a few hours..‘lepas gian’… didnt bring the full arsenal accept the small float with short leader for rig and large pellets for bait.
Hope to be there again by December and hope to see you there.

I can still feel the ‘brotherly tension’ and healthy competition between you two…he..he..he (and not to mentioned few old scores to settle).I kind of miss all that, lorrr, you guys.It was the good old days ( or evenings) at Laguna…God’s willing, I would like to suggest a ‘reunion’( gathering) sometimes before the end of the year…probably one at Laguna and another at Toufoo…atleast for just 3 of us.
As far as Laguna’s condition now , I rather like ( or accepted) it as it is…just like a clean slate to start my new ‘experiments’.

I was at Laguna yesterday for few hours. Met Sham,Pakman and few other young regulars. Seemed that the ‘pallets’ are still reliable in creating pacu’s frenzy tho the catch rate is lower.I did join in the fun (tumpang sekaki) with my single pellet bait..not wanting to ‘bangau’.
Hope to see you there to sometimes. I will stay around the canteen area as I hate to use the ladder at the grandstand to get down to the water.
