SA calls theirs Quad Tip, RIO swears by the name Versitip. Basically, they’re all the same - where a concept of 4 different (in presentation) fly line tips being connected interchangeably to one belly & head.
On the surface, it looks practical. I’d love to get my hands on one of those as well (probably to be used in Maldives).
So what your take on this one? Anybody has used it before? A review of some sort will help me much further. Thanks in advance, people… [;)] [8D]

On the flats bro, all you will need is either floating, sink tip or at most slow sinking or intermediate fly line. Don’t use fast sink unless you are casting from boat. There are lots of corals around and your fast sinking line will easy get caught up.

So u think this fly line with interchangeable tips would do any good in such a place…?

Bro, imo, by the time you change the tips, the fish lari already lah. haha Just stick with one of the fly lines and you’ll enjoy yourself more.
Personally, for me, I would stick with a floating or a sink tip line. Just have your intermediate as spare, when you reach a lagoon that is fairly deep and you casting from the bank.

Easier to bring a spare spool or reel with the different line. Or you can bring 2 fly rods with you…leave one somewhere on the island. Don’t worry…nobody around…so your fly rod is safe.
