Fishing is not really the main reason we’re going…we’ve been planning a trip to meet up with the northern fly fishos for a while now.
If we can catch some fish whilst we’re there, then it’s a bonus. [:D]

True, after many years of fishing… from Haruan, river, inshore, deep sea… fly fishing. I believe, fish is not our ultimate target anymore… catching fish is a bonus.. Fishing is a hobby, suppose to de-stress.. instead of setting high aim, pressure our self…
The process, the knowledge and the experience tru the trip… meeting different fishor and exchange of experience and view…about fly fishing, is the best way to improve our self.
Fly fishing are about conservation too… gone lah the years where we alway bring home ALL our catch, let’s keep some for our children…
We are hopping to meet up all the fly fishors, unite all fly guys… discuss about the future of fly fishing in our country..

flyfishing at bedong now is alomost like fishing in a football field [:p]. the main difference is that you get to wet your line only [:D]
was there with my firends on labour day, we flew for the whole morning and only landed 6 fishes. all other ppl are using kembong, this makes the fish are too lazy to chase anything. we could see a few followed our files and just refused to take.
i understand that the fun of fishing is the company, but the environment is very important as well, doesn’t it? bedong is loosing his customers to kakilai in terms of lure & fly caster. i wuold realy think many many times if you ask me to go bedong now. even the kakilai boss also have the same feeling saying that the care taker had runined bedong.
