exit from SP utara tol, go straight. after the 2nd traffic light, look for a driving school on ur right. mk a u-turn at the 3rd traffic light, the turn into a red earth road leading to a oil palm estate (bout 20m from the driving school). go straight, u can see the sign leading to the pond.

went to kakilai this morning, half day fishing with 3 officemate. but i arrived quite late, about 9am. really enjoy fishing there.
not many people today, less than 10. met river2sea there, he came alone from jitra.
thanx nick, pak amin, dron and andrew for coming all the way up here guys! really hoped u enjoyed the “siakaps on steroids”

No No No… the siakap are not only took Steroid…!!! I think Fire Tiger must have gave them extra VIAGRA…!!!( from his hospital )… Steroid plus Viagra make these SiakapSSSS GILA…!!! Every cast sure catch…!!! not even need to strip..!!!
Estimate… about 10 of us fishing that morning… easily about FEW hundreds Siakap were landed…!!! ( I lost count how many fishes that I hook up that day… not enough fingers…

Watching you guys cast is an inspiration and somehow my fly casting seems to have improved. It was indeed our pleasure to dish out the FFF and at the same time enjoyed the company of you guys.
Not often do we get the honour of fly fishing with so many experts particularly my Sifu Pak Amin. So do come down to Penang more often and perhaps we can explore other more exotic places for the 3Fs.

It was a most enjoyable trip. We were hoping Doraemon would give a few pointers on how to catch the ladyfish at Bedong but since we weren’t wearing any skirts… ahem… [:D]
And Firetiger…you’re most welcome to my flies anytime. And as Dron mentioned…do berley the fishes at kakilai with your extra “viagra” before we come up again the next time… [:p]
