keeping pet birds

i think it’s a fascinating hobby and would encourage those of you who have time or space to build an outdoor bird cage and buy some birds from a petshop.i have learned a lot about nature’s mysteries by observing my pet bird’s behaviour and enjoyed very much the various songs they sing.if you go to the malaysiabirdforum website you can gain many friends too and lots of info about birds etc…cheers

I strongly feel that observing birds in their natural habitat is more interesting. birding has become my main hobby after fishing nowadays.. hahahaha

Keep the bird in a cage..? Noway… I like to keep my bird warm… in my pants…

Aiyo Dron, that is a kind of cage as well lar. Wear sarong and let your bird enjoy some free free jiggling space. Hahahaha.

Lapala,
That is wrong oso. Keeping the bird under a sarong is telling the bird to sleep. If you really want to let your bird have its freedom, dont enclose it at all![;)]

Anyone let their bird fly away..?

I know someone kept an anaconda in his pants… but that anaconda feed on fabric softener, so kenot use anymore… kakakaka

Oh… The anaconda swallowed the bird…? That’s a disaster…!

nope… something more terrible and unexpected. the bird pecked the anaconda and resulting total disability… hahahaha

thanks for the warm response guys .i really enjoyed the funny, going- off- topic exchanges between you guys.anyway i got a baby bird from my pair of nesting zebra finches and now training it to do some tricks.one day last week, i saw one of my male strawberry finch trying to mate with the baby bird when it was looking for food on the ground.i guess it’s a kind of sexual molestation/rape of a minor!birds can be naughty too.no ,i do not like to take feathers from my precious birds unless i am forced to do so for tying special flies only.

uiyooo… people go as far as China to get that Red Avadavat on camera, you’re keeping them at home! hahaha… must come to your house to capture them on digital format..

Master Yong… next time you see such tragic happened again… pls record them down… I have never see a bird raping another…

Did some bird watching last night… all sorts of shapes and sizes…at a place called Over Time. Wonder if it’s possible to keep some as pets?? that would be nice! Maybe not, the cost of bird food will be exorbitant…

Steelhead,

If you wanna keep those sort of birds, you got to pay and also high maintenance too. Those will be a temporally luxury pets for short period of time only. I’m sure you can afford it…hehehe
