Thanx for the tips/advice. The pond looks reasonably big enough from Google …a tad smaller than half a football field size maybe?? Just have to be careful and make way when someone is on a fish. If everyone fishes that way, fishin could be even more enjoyable.
I’ll probably head by later part of the morning…come and join if you can.

i might be there in the morning. not sure yet. have to check with a friend if he’s interested to join me.
but most likely will be there at night la, and maybe even throughout the night, until saturday morning. wanna see if the boom does me any good. never left this place with more than one fish before. hope to do so tmrw night.

OK…just look out for a solo guy fishin in the late mornings tomolo. Happy fishing whenever time you go and of course and with some luck, hope to experience the boom-boom time too.

got roof/shade and chairs all over. No worries. Sure enough. also got landing nets for ppl to use, and taps around the pond if u need to wash anything.
The only thing i concerned about when a lot of ppl planning to fish is whether got space to cast. hope dun have ppl cross lines when cast out.

Live prawn ony. Last time I went there only small size. Normally I used kembong or sardin and used float rig but bite after sometime only. Have to be patient. If use the tiny prawn either siakap or LAMPAM will get it soon.
If dont take package rate is same RM35/3hr.

hey guys, went there on wednesday morning got a mangrove jack 1 kg.
this morning went there got another one. i think it’s mangrove jack also. but it’s much more red-coloured this time. 1.3kg.
the fish now not very big. i think 20lb line should be way more than enough. even though small, but they are pretty strong. fun to play with.
this morning, a lot of ppl got siakap. a few ppl got more than one siakap in less than 1 hour fishing. most ppl caught fish. a few went back empty-handed.
thinking of going for the midnight package tonight again, for the boom… but not sure yet, coz i dun like to fish with so many ppl there. sure gila banyak ppl one. hmmm… see how la..
anyway, just to show u some of the catch i got on wednesday n this morning…
wednesday’s catch. 1 kg MJ… makan last night dy. haha. syiok!
this morning’s catch… 1.3 kg. the uncle taking care of the place in the morning, said that this is older stock of fish. different batch one, that’s why so red.

Tonight i went there at 9pm to 2am only caught 2siakap 2kilo each.start raining when i got in the car.Tonight MJ no eat bait duno why maybe my set up.But sit next to me a old unlce caught 6 fish siakap and MJ but lucut 5 time,his body all wet maybe is the early raining,his wife scoled him to go home but he dont wan to. I respect him (salute).
For the first time since i fish in pond for so long i see another old man fell in the water because a fish pull his rod down.Poor old man bleed on his hand and leg but manage to catch the fish up and is a 1.5kilo.lucky he is alright.
Tonight i see the pond owner says what he says that he BOOM his fish and he really does it but not only that he gives all angler free 30minute for those who fish 3hour or more.
Hope that he will BOOM more ofthen and give free minutes or hour in future. hehehehehe

for those of u who went early enough, congrats! heard got almost everybody managed to leave with fish, with about 100 ppl fishing (according to ben)! some left with 5-6, most left with at least 2.
i went too late. i reached there shortwhile only, then started raining. rained from 1am up till morning 8+am. no catches. so cold. only saw two fish lifted up in that 7 hours. got all soaked in the rain.
sad.
but at least i learnt some skills n secrets from some pakciks there, n talked with ben for a long time about the history of the pond.
anyway, still lots of fish inside there, coz halfway into the boom, started to rain. at least 100+ to 200+ fish inside la i think. have to wait till it’s hot then only the fish active again. ben released 10 jackpot fish. only one naik so far. means still got at least 9 (and maybe even old stock huge ones).
oh ya. i think i realized something. everybody using float got siakap. mj i think ususally at the bottom la. coz last three times i went there, got mj each time by playing bottom. n last night saw all the ppl using float, all siakap… for those that i saw la.
