On behalf of all the Longkang Advisory Panel. The following are the new criterias for admitting new members. Some of the content will also apply to the existing member. Please read. Thank you.
Proposed Membership Application</font id=“red”>
The intending Member is to voice out to any LKG members for their interest in joining LKG. (Not pull-in by LKG)
Existing MFN forummer with active post above 100 (Kelisa Member Status)
Actively mixing with any LKG members for fishing activities regardless of freshwater, seafishing, paypond or longkang and/or gatherings including lepak, coffee or tea drinking session (not less than 5 minor or major trips)
New proposed members must be friendly, humorous, socialable, non-racist, not-anti-religion, no political agenda.
May/Can/Will/Hope/Wish/Able to practice ethical sport-fishing attitude.
Must agree not to expose the existence of LKG Room to anybody other than existing LKG members.
To maintain its MFN username and Password as Private and Confidential at all times.
To uphold the name of LKG at all times by preserving the good name of LKG in and out of the room and during any participation that bears the good image of LKG.
To proudly display the LKG logo and URL address in the signature section.
Nominations</font id=“red”>
Nominated new members are to undergo a screening period for 60 days. (from the day of nomination).
Open Voting Session by LAP members in LAPAR room (to state Valid reason for rejection if any - decision based on majority votes by LAP members)
New member is born.
Actively participate in the LKG room and not to MIA himself for too long (3 months)
For existing member</font id=“blue”>
Please do not to expose the existence of LKG Room to anybody other than existing LKG members.
To maintain its MFN username and Password as Private and Confidential at all times. Do log-out from the system if you are using public computer system.

If we wait for every LKG member to meet the would be members, then I dont think we will be getting any new members.
As long as most of us know the guys then I personally think that shud suffice.It wud be impractical for all of us to meet up one go.In my opinion,these 3 guys have fulfilled the conditions of joining us.

What Lannun said is true. As long as the nominated candidates has been known to most of us guys through foruming, fishing and gathering will do. If we wait for everyone in LKG to get to know the new candidates or to vote from the open floor, it will be like waiting for the cows to come home. This is one of the reasons why LAP is formed in order to handle this kind of issue and make the decision.</font id=“black”>

But seriously, since LAP has formulated admission criteria, we should have a set of violations that will dismiss members as well. At least a warning system as well. IF members do not heed the warning than they will be dismissed. As LKG grows and like right now admission of members suggested that some do not even know, we should have strick ethos to adhere to and violations should be dealt with.

For those, i think we should treat it on case by case basis. Not nice to kick people out leh. Only went it go overboard and beyond rescue. Then only we discuss about it. Other than that, i think everybody is capable of knowing what is good and bad for LKG.
For the new policy, i will email out to every member so that they are aware of this.
The being nice part will be the downfall. Since rules are already being set, just clarify the expulsion criteria as well. Case by case basis will be like play play only and no clear guidelines as what is acceptable & what is not. “Only went it go overboard and beyond rescue.” will mean the LKG reputation is already tarnished. Kambing sudah hilang baru mau repair kandang, not a good policy.
