Bring whatever tools you use to make the lure with and FR shall advise on it’s use. As I have mentioned in another thread, some of the things we buy like the el-cheapo carving knives are a waste of good money. All of us have been there and done that!
Happy to report that Tai Si Heng did a wonderful job on the clinic yesterday. And all in the presence of the Devcon God shrine as well!
Glad to say that we have now Tuke,Lonewolf and CW solidly on our side(the dark side that is)[:D]
Thank you Tzeentch for making the venue available and to FR for a very informative session.[:D]

CW,
Welcome to the dark side! [}:)] I have the same feeling as you when I was introduced to lure making by Lapala the grand master (oh, it was the night before U4)…
btw, you can design your own patterns 1st and draw it on the wood. try make a few before you start mass production making the same pattern, then you can consider to use a template [:)]
hahaha… i started the other way round, design my own 1st (refer to others of course) than see what’s the difference of mine with the production lure. compare what is the effect if i make mine with a lil difference, from there I can have a better understanding why certain things are designed [:P].
i’ve drawn a lot of draft long before I started to mk my own lures, so too eager to put them into testing field. hehehehe… maybe i’m a lil weired, but i find it interesting making something different [:o)]
