OIC, P.Acheh is located in pulau Indah, Klang, place where we going have the Distance Casting Tourney on 27-12-08. If you interest to come here, on this 25th we will be going there to prepare the casting court. We can meet you at the Petronas kiosk are the 3rd Kesas Tol.

Hi…can anyone give me the brand for surfcasting rod with length…not so expensive…Its look interesting + scary the way of surf the rod…(the small video)
By that kind of surf, what type of bait that wont come out?
Do you have zoom picture bait at the hook?..

BroOnn, Thanks a lot for your invitation. I had been to Pulau Indah before but not Pantai Acheh. I cannot confirm yet, need to look after my baby at year end. But the tournament looks vert tempting enough and very best place for me to learn valuables lesson. I know the Petronas station, it is just about 1km before the exit to Pandamaran.

Nice catch. I am from KT. They look like Duri but i dont think they are because the fork tail is too big and slim. Duri has smaller fork tail and wider, and they dont get to be that big unless they are Duri Laut with yellow tail. The other type Belukang are with white stripes, considered pests to locals. I just wonder whether Pelutang and Malong are the same species.
Anyway, i always throw any Duri or Belukang i caught because of the taste, how Pelutang taste like?

I remember catching something that looked similar just after either SRP or SPM…probably SRP. Went with some friends to Kuala Kedah, nearest fishing port from Alor Setar. Fished off the moored trawlers; caught two but last one got away due line was tangled on some water-logged branches along with the fish, so when I strike, struck the branch instead of the fish. bait was newly dead octopus ‘leg’, obtained from the trawler’s net.

Was very nice asam pedas curry my grandma made with that fish.[:D]
