bought the SG2000 today … it IS small, cute, solid
spooled it with the balance of my spiderwire camo
can’t wait to see how it holds up under pressure

weighs about the same as my ABU ultracast UT2000
both come with 6BB … but the ABU seems much smoother in that a single turn of the handle results in more (smooth) rotor turns
wonder if it’s because of its weight/mass …

Penn Sargus SG2000…landed 50kg plabuk in BSR recently. Further to that we tested the reel on maximum drag pulling numerous plabuks ranging from 16 - 30kg on 10 lbs line…just dismantled the reel…no visible damages…drag still smooth…This is the second time my sargus is bashed at BSR…will be making a trip to my favorite tackle shop to acquire the full range of the sargus family soon.
