i just back from the pond…went on a baung hunting, managed to catch a baby leekoh which i gave it to the person beside me coz dun eat those fish..also caught a baung, reasonable size…hehehe.. [:D] fight, so so.. sangkut my fave baung rig there in front of the counter [B)]

those Baby leekoh… eat everything… normally just stay at the side pond… just drop the line at the front no need to cast also can get…

what THE FISH? I only saw the counter guy start fishing and caught something big..could be a big patin or tongsan, couldn’t see it from far… he took quite sometime to bring it up in fact and it was a foul hook [xx(]
will go baung hunting again after my exams..

if not wrong PATIN… they put lot’s 3-6kg inside… yday nite only manage see 1 ppl get 1 “kepala BESAR” other’s patin, baung and leekoh… even they have good size leekoh around 2kg…
BTW TAUKE start to spot those used “treible hook” … kick them out and BANNED them to the pond…
yday nite NO FISH for me… Cacing NOT LAKU…

wan ask, those landing nets so many hang at the pond, can use wan or not? or must rent? that day I sit below the big pipe where they let the water down (or maybe let the fish out) so no need landing net, just drag the fish up coz the water level same as the floor.
but now i plan to sit elsewhere… might need to use the landing nets..wonder should i bring my own or just take theirs. wanna go later? plan to go there around 3pm.

Went there evening. Packed with anglers. Got my first fish within 3 minutes. Then heavy downpour started for 1 hours. Surprisingly raining also the fish eating. Final tally got 6 pacu and 3 baung. All small size around 300g-500g. Sold to the trader there and got back RM14.50. Pacu is RM2.50/kg and baung RM5/kg. Bait I used - pacu takes earth worm and chicken liver, while baung takes chicken liver which is the popular bait there
Around the pond most people fishing for baung. Pacu to them is pest [:D]. Those who fish for patin and rohu generally have a quiet day. Only a handful being hooked up. A regular sit next to me told me patin doesn’t usually take bait, but mostly being foul hooked up. I never tried any dedak for this trip.

Not bad… got lot’s also ma… SAT & SUN for sure pack of ppl there…
as i know the patin really don’t bite much… but proof me wrong on last trip i when ther.. 1 guy seat next to me use dedak + small slice roti on the hook get hooked up 1 patin 4kg with mouth BITE not foul hook… but wat as i know the fish ther really chooseY.. i used cacing before to landed patin and tongsan with mouth bite also…

It Seem plenty lot’s PATIN still inside the pond… Yday the FISH Buyer CAR BOOT also cannot closed… even have to put some to the back seat… at least saw bout 8 Patin around 4-6 kg landed by other’s FISHO… during 2 hour…

Yday nite still lot’s PATIN inside the pond… TONGSAN is eating… my fren get 4 around 4-5 kilo… very smelly… until his “katak” round out SOUND!!!

Btw this pond is NEAR MINLON building or the tokong up the hill ther… u know wher??? yes open 24/7… for bait resipi.. i really dunoo… but the place for tip’s… is oppsite the counter on the center…
extra tip’s… used BISC Marry + dedak… higher chance..
