takde casting sekarang ni… wife baru je selamat operation… dah beli reel and rod baru, reel abu and joran fenwick tuh… belum pun rasmi lagi… nak tunggu masa yang sesuai.. rasanya memang barracuda, sebab dia sentap je terus bawa lari… tapi malang nya tak sempat nak strike balik… ingatkan sangkut kat tunggul kayu sebab time tu air pasang…

kind of famous nowadays with these SP for casting jalak… i already bought some but still finding a suitable time to cast… still busy with work… eeerrrgghhh… hand is like shaking when saw you guys catch some on your hook… nice catch badushunter!!!

any catch everyone? i only catch a small 1 yesterday and my friend afui catch a sun hock. jifat yesterday didnt get any, but he almost lost his janggut to the fish… jifat had some strike and 1 strike had made his janggut “z” and the fish got loose… next time we try again jifat… maybe yesterday is not your luck…

Hi Ming2elly,
Looking at one of your pictures, you are wearing slippers and holding a fish you caught, seem that the fishing spot is just by the road side with easy access. Are there still allot of this kind of places around yr area for haruan?
Maguro… yup there is still a lot of these area around here… i just dont have the time and oppurtunity to try all the area… this spot is around my working area… just by the road side and there is a crossing culvert on the spot… this spot still had a lot of the snakehead… i am sure because i had seen a snakehead on this spot around 1 to 2 kg ++ still i will keep continue to this spot, the search for the 1 kg ++ mark…

not in k.b but in kota marudu here… usually i cast after working hour… 5 pm above… still there is a larger 1 there… can weight up to 1 kg ++ [:D]

Nowadays very hard to find a big haruan…1kg and above. I believe there is a magic 2kg++ haruan in that very same spot…It is in Kota Marudu or KB area??

this 1.41 kg i catch it at k.b. along with jifat and the fishing shop brother, afui… still there is a lot more place that we didnt try yet… surely will go for it. spot by spot… jifat also believe that in the pond we cast still had a larger 1… maybe 2 kg or even 3 kg ++ the fight of the 1.41 jalak is tough, even do some acrobatic jump from the water! and pull out my line too!!!
