Surfishing activities and updates

Twelvefooter,
Your BIL don’t seem to agree with your decision to make Morib your second home(neither do I)but what we think is not important. What’s important though is your intuition and your decision. It’s gonna be exclusively yours, be it failure or success. Make your MARK dude…leave a “stain” at least, in this world before we depart for the other.
till later…

trust in god but tie up your camel or loosen the drag.

encik rahim…well said..i have made the decision based on comparison made on about the same tide timing..onn’s spot is my new findings in the pursuit of a happy fishing ground…and I have thus far find it befitting. We may all have our favorite spots and this one is now in my books of imaginings…linggi has left me with fond memories but returning there would be a misery indeed hehehehe

cheers..

bro 12footer… i share your ‘pain’ hehe… that’s why im much happier now even tho it’s sungai mka fishing for me for the time being… did surfcasting at the muara there last sunday morning, b4 the gerhana bulan (english term?), got 1 violent strike but sadly no hook-up lar bro… mmm… wonderng the whole of sunday wat fish that might be hehe… anyway, my surfcasting activities r seasonal lah… wud like to make it more regular, but still thinking of gettig the viper 1st lah… using a good ole friend rod doesnt make the outing so much pleasurable as using one of your own…

gerhana bulan=eclipse of the moon

the one that gave u that jerk cud be ikan bulan kot hehehe it is celebrating the gerhana la kot..so it just wanna give u a scare so that you would come back. Bro why don’t you use both your rods..bait your surf rod nicely with huge baits and aim for big game while using your smilang slayer rod? I’m sure if luck is with you u’d sure could catch some biggies.

BTW r u saying that you gonna buy an Abu Viper rod?

cheers..

haha… the 12" rod oredi got me hands full. u wanna torture me summore by asking me to use my galah jolok buah rambutan? hehe… thx but no thx… if any1 interested in the demon surf i’d be glad to leggo… cheap cheap lar, otherwise collecting dust & eating up storage space onli lah. my semilang rod just a medium slow action graphite 6 footer lah. even the slightly over 1 kilo catfish made it into a nice inverted u bend like nobody’s biz hehe… bt man, i love that rod to death hehe… even tho it wuz just a gift from a departing friend many many moons ago.

yup, thinking of getting it, but it ain’t easy to get me hands on it. last time there was a lone unit at aceanic tackle here, but not to my liking coz only medium action lah… looking at the MH one… got lubang or wat? if cheaper better hehe… in the other thread, bro onn said oredi got new replacement model kah? ultracast wat? mmm…

cheers

Bang, balik lah bang... Remember bro...? ha ha ha...one of our favorite quote on the beach when the catch is bad... Anyway this is what I feel, whether its fishing in linggi, morib or rompin...or anywhere else for that matter. What's most important above anything else is fulfilling the concept(mine at least) i.e having a good time. Alamak...gotta mandi lah dude, going to selayang in a while continue later ok.

trust in god but tie up your camel or loosen the drag.

encik rahim…cela est la vie!..even my ex-nelayan friend said that catching fish is similar to begging…sometime bountiful sometime just like a fool…anyway as u said as long as we could feel good nothing else matters eh…

cheers..

Twelvefooter,
Anyway bro, lets do rompin/pantai lanun again. Probably this time around we could get better results. Now that we know the secret…!!!
