This mini reel is the perfect choice to stash away in a golf bag together with a collapsible rod and a rubber frog lure for some forbidden golf course fishing.</font id=“purple”>

Tried to abuse my Tics Cetus yesterday. I loaded this micro reel with 20lb braided line and locked the drag to see if this reel can take abuses from some titans. Luck was on my side. Managed to hooked up to a 7kg patin. With the drag locked, the patin was still able to take quite some line from the reel [guess it’s not possible to fully lock the drag]. I brute forced the patin and able to land it in no time. When I went home, I dismantled the reel covers to check for damages…so far so good…no broken gears. I cleaned it and put in some grease and oil…reassembled it and tested…no loose part[^]</font id=“purple”>

for a < RM100 reel, it certainly is value for money … smoother than the Rapala FSi (6 bearings better than 8 bearings!!!), much better than the Ofmer … [^]

The price is from Chow Kit but the quality is that of Shimano Stella.
