Hiya guys,

Wai and me are going to Fish Valley on wednesday just to lepak and to do some relaxed fun fishing - besides, we need to re-sharpen our skills in making fish baits … anybody wanna join us? This should be in the morning, seeing as it seems to be raining almost everyday in the afternoons ..

Yes, very much hooked, got this one in Gopeng, Perak fishing on X-Mas day alone at some abandoned pond. The feisty fella was really aggressive! Earlier attempts got it to jump about a meter out of the water chasing my Spinnerbait. I hv never seen Haruans jump out of water. The moment I saw it, my adrenaline hyped 3 fold. I told myself, NO FISH NO GO HOME!

Now that I’ve gotten my Snakehead license, I have more confidence to venture out with you guys.

@fishie could I join? How much is the price of the paypond? But I only use lures…and 15 pound line is my maximum.

Of course .. most probably gonna hang out at the RM5.00 pond - it’s RM5 per entry, catch and release - and you can use lures or baits, whatever you wish. We should be there by about 9pm, I think - call up Wai or me for directions if you are not sure where Fish Valley is.

Basic things you need to join our rough and tough forays.

  1. Your casting tackle set loaded with at least 20lb line and baits of
    your own choice.
  2. Sufficient drink and snacks for your self.
  3. A pair of good wellington boot and sock.
  4. A sheathed chopping knife.
  5. A change of clothing. No one willing to take you back in their car
    if you are soaked wet or sweat drenched.
  6. A basic first aid kit.
  7. Bag for keeping your catch if you want a fish or two home.
  8. Garbage bags to bring back your wet and dirty staffs.
  9. Other staffs of your own need.
  10. Your jokes.[:D][:D]
