Team Format
- A maximum of 4 persons per team.
- Each team must have a captain, and the captain will be key contact person.
- A maximum of 3 rods (baitcasting, spinning and fly rods combined) are allowed for each participant. However, only 1 rod is allowed to be used at any one time. The competition is open to baitcasting, spinning and fly fishing disciplines only. Participants are allowed to switch disciplines during the competition.
- Special U6 patches will be provided and must be worn on team shirts.
Scoring Format & Points System
- This tournament is a self-governing point system tournament.
- Points are awarded to only Peacock Bass caught either from land or on boat.
- Points are only awarded for the 5 heaviest PEACOCK BASS from the team for day one and another best 5 for day two.
- All anglers must have their own keep net to transport the fish to the weighing station.(Not neccessary alive)
- All Peacock Bass are to be brought into the holding tank.
Boats
- Only one boat (optional) is allowed for each team.
- Only 2 participants are allowed to fish from a boat at any one time.
- Personal Floatation Device (life jacket) is compulsory for participants fishing from boats. PFD must be worn at all times whenever participants are fishing from boats.
- Thrusters only allowed.(Oar power allowed}

- Highest Points ¨C Champion X 4 patches , 2nd Place X 4 patches , 3rd Place X 4 patches
- Best Dressed Team ¨C 4 patches for one winning team
- Most Friendly team ¨C 4 patches for one winning team
- Most Sporting Team (by votes) ¨C 1 X 4 patches
Dos and Don’ts
- Monofilament, GSP braided, thermal fused GSP, etc are allowed. No line class is imposed.
- Only artificial lures allowed. Participants are not allowed to use natural bait for either fishing or berleying.
- Shock leader must not exceed 1 metre in length {With exception to Fly fishing}. No poundage restriction for shock leaders used.
- Landing net is compulsory; participants must fight and land the catch themselves.
- All Peacock Bass to be brought back to the holding tank and all other species to be released back into the water.
- Strict zero littering policy, including cigarette butts. While smoking is not prohibited, participants have to find a way to dispose their cigarette butts without littering.
- Participants are to observe all marked/cordoned off areas i.e. greens, tee box and sand bunkers. These areas are strictly out of bounds.
- All participants are to take care not to damage the fairway (as most of the land based participants will be fishing along the fairway)
- Penalty, including the possibility of disqualification, will be imposed for infringement of rules and regulations at the Marshall Council¡¯s discretion. Marshall Council’s decision is final and incontestable.

f. The Organisers reserves the right to revise or modify the terms and conditions, rules and policies deemed fit for the Challenge.
