Yes guys and gals… one of the up grade or improvement that proposed by Nik in his proposal to the minister is a additional toilet… we will plan that part soon.
But at the moment, The signage, a proper roofing at the multi purpose area, barbecue pit and additional platform across the pond is also very important… let discuss this together and see which one we can put in in the next gotong royong…
BTW… latest up date from Nik… there will be no gotong royong this Saturday due to there are going to be 7000 students coming to Taman Pertanian … We will continue the gotong royong next week…

Chinese New Year is just around the corner. A lot of preparation and shopping to be done. So, perhaps you guys need some rest and some time together with your family for this coming festival. For UFO club, we need to plan something too. This place will be the club house for the UFO members to meet and to organize things. Maybe we can organize Chinese open house get together among ourself. Food, fishing, and fun for everybody.
Besides that we also need to promote fly fishing and proper fishing tips to school children as requested and proposed by Pengarah Perikanan Selangor, Puan Thalathiah to me recently. Can UFO team undertake this project together with FFLCC? We need to organize some clinics and classes to these children. Of course with a small fees affordable by school children. So, what do you guys think…

Good if we can interest children to take up the sport. However, need to consider a number of things like age (too young cannot), equipment, safety, children’s short attention span …etc. I would suggest, as a guide, that they should be at least 10 years old.
Perhaps you would also want to consider cordoning off an area with lots of Tilapia for children to baitfish with cacing? “Catch them young” [:D]
Finally, fly fishing lessons should be free and to include (eventually), apart from casting, the whole philosophy of flyfishing … subjects like insect life, reading water, flytying, C&R, fish handling, appreciation of nature…etc…am willing to assist where I can [:)]

Yes. Thats the one that Pn. Thalathiah was talking about. A real educational clinic with proper guidelines and syllabus. Equipment I can provide. We can even ask Perikanan to donate some. She is really into this idea. I prefer if UFO can jointly organize this and coordinate with FFLCC. My intention is also to make our club and FFLCC recognized by them i.e Perikanan etc.
I totally support the idea… Let discuss further on the coming weekend when we meet up at EAK…

What Nik plan wsa to have us help him paint the entrance arch and the pondok at the multi purpose area… if there are material, we will also build another platform for the opposite bank…
