WARNING TO ALL

THAT WAS SOMETHING GREAT TO BE SHARE TO EVERYONE…
I WOULD SAY, NO MATTER WHAT SUSPICIOUS THINGS HAPPEN, JUST HEAD-UP TO THE NEAREST POLICE STATION..

cheers

Good information. . Please take note and it can happen to you.
Remember this especially when you buy lots of ice cream during Baskin Robbins 31st day offer!!! Marketing when you buy fresh food stuffs, cold food/cakes for outing etc.

They normally put dry ice in your ice cream pack if you buy a lot.

A friend bought four packs of ice cream and to prevent it from melting, the seller put the dry ice amongst the ice cream. My friend put it at the back seat (not the back of the car boot) and he started to drive with the windows closed and the air con on (as what we all do). Soon after that, he had difficulty breathing and it was getting worse by minutes. Luckily, he was in a traffic jam and when he almost fainted, beside him was an ambulance.. He dragged himself to the ambulance and got the oxygen treatment. He was getting better on the way to the hospital.

The ambulance officer drove his car to the hospital and he had the same experience. However, before his condition worsen, he opened up the window and he could breathe easily. Only later, when my friend returned to office and told his colleagues about his story, they pointed out to him that the dry ice was the problem. WHY?

Dry ice is made of CO2 and when it “melts”, it becomes CO2 gas straight away without leaving any wet mark (that is why it is called dry ice). CO2 is easier to be tied up in our blood and thus, when the dry ice sublimes into CO2 gas, it fills the car room with it along with the air con circulation and caused CO2 poisoning. So, You must ALWAYS leave the windows open if you have dry ice in your car even it is pack nicely and full closed in a box unless it is really air tight (so CO2 gas will not escape).

Hope this will help to prevent any fatality just from a small negligence like this. Imagine if you have your children inside, they might be the first victim

Two new technique used by robbers! BEWARE!

Case 1 : A lady could not open her remote controlled gate because someone tied her gate.

She thought her control was faulty and she came down from her car to check and she was chopped
(hands etc)by a man who had a parang. She lost her handbag and she was hospitalised.

It happened in TamanGembira Klang. There were 2 men who planned this attack.
They tied up remote controlled gate and wait to strike. Please pass this and warn those who own remote controlled gates…to beware.

Case 2: If you are driving at night and are attacked with eggs, do not operate the wiper and spray any water.

Because eggs mixed with water become milky and block your vision up to 92.5%. Then you are forced to stop at the road side and become a victim of robbers
This is a new technique used by robbers in Johor Bahru.

Dear all,
Do pass this on to your list of people especially women who drive.

If you get RM10.00 in your car door handle, use tissue paper or cloth to remove it without opening it and if possible bag it. Drive away immediately.

Don’t check the note until you are in the company of your friends or relatives. The note could either contain powdered drugs to knock you out or make you wonder if some guilty motorist compensating you for a knock or scratch on your car, while you are still wondering, the robber(s) will attack you as you check the car.

This had happened in Johor.

CCTV camera records Mat Rempit attack

VIOLENT crime in progress: These pictures tell how 14 Mat Rempit ganged up to beat and rob five women during an early morning fuel stop in Bangsar.

A CCTV surveillance camera captured the attack on the three sisters and two of their cousins at the Shell petrol station in Jalan Bangsar.

Traumatised, they have vowed never to go to a petrol station again after dark..

Twelve young thugs, on six motorcycles, were said to be ‘hovering around the station’ while a pair on another motorcycle filled up as the women drove in about 3.30am on Saturday.

They were on their way home after a function in Puchong. Sisters Uma Munusamy, 33, Chittra, 32, and Latha, 31, were to drop off cousins Ragas Letchumanan, 28, and Komala, 20, at their Bangsar home when they decided to stop for fuel.

They drove up to a pump at the station. Latha went to the window counter to pay, while Chittra, who was driving, got out to fill up. That was when the Mat Rempit, who had been noisy and boisterous, moved in, as if acting on cue.

One thug attacked Latha, splashing a can of ‘Red Bull’ energy drink on her face.. The sweet-sour liquid stung her eyes, temporarily blinding her as the thug pushed her down, hit her with the drink can and snatched her gold chain and handphone.

Another three dashed to the car to attack the others.

‘We were in fear.. We thought that we had been splashed with acid, as the liquid they threw on our faces really stung,’ said Uma, recalling the attack.

The women screamed for help, but none arrived. The petrol station workers were safe and sound, inside the premises, where the doors had been locked at midnight.

‘The workers just stood there, watching,’ said Latha.

At the car, the Mat Rempit ordered the girls to hand over their valuables and handphones.

One of them just couldn’t wait. He yanked Uma’s gold bracelet off one wrist and at the same time snatched the handphone she held in the other hand.

Despite fearing for their lives, the girls put up a fight, trying to prevent the robbers from getting away with their belongings. The scuffles only led to injuries, but fortunately, minor ones.

Ragas was hit on the head several times, while Chittra sustained injuries on her neck and right arm, besides suffering an injury to the lower lip… She was then beaten up with a soda can.

‘The whole incident really traumatised us but what was worse was the fact the workers did not even bother to help,’ said Uma.

This is one nightmare they do not ever want to experience again. And, for them at least, no more filling up fuel at night, or stopping anywhere either during the wee hours. Their total loss: RM3,000 in cash and valuables.

The five made a report at the Brickfields police station soon after recovering from the shock of the attack. Police said they are investigating, and have yet to identify the culprits.

The women also expressed their frustration over the Mat Rempit menace. ‘So much has been said, so much anger and frustration has been expressed over these motorcycle thugs… but yet they seem to be having a free run,’ said Chittra.

Their only hope is that justice will be done, that the CCTV images captured by the surveillance camera will lead to arrests and conviction.

Advice from polis diraja Malaysia - DO NOT FLASH YOUR LIGHTS

Advice from Polis Diraja Malaysia

The message below is from a CID Officer with Polis Diraja Malaysia . Kindly forward it to your colleagues or friends.

ROAD SAFETY ALERT

A police officer working with a the DARE program has issued this warning:

If you are driving after dark and see an on-coming car with no headlights on, DO NOT FLASH YOUR LIGHTS at them. This is a common gang member ‘Initiation Game’. The new gang member under initiation drives along with no headlights and first car to flash their headlights at him is now his ‘target’. He is now required to turn around and chase that car, and shoot at or into the car in order to complete his initiation requirements. Make sure you share this info with all the drivers in your family.

With Due respect

With Due respect I humbly write to solicit for your partnership and assistance in the transfer and investment of my inheritance fund USD$17.5M from my late father who died mysteriously last Dec.
It was very evident that he was poisoned to death. In my culture, when a man dies, if he does not have a male child, the brothers shares his property leaving both the wife and the daughters empty handed including the house they live in. This is the exact case with me as I am the only daughter of my father. I lost my mother when I was barely a year old and my father refused to re-marry another wife because he felt solely responsible for my mother’s death.
This is so because he concentrated much on his businesses that he rarely pays attention to domestic affairs. He was always travelling taking care of his businesses that he did not notice when my mother took ill. He thought it was a minor illness and was ignorant of this. My mother on her own resorted to self-medication. It was not until the illness degenerated that my father took my mother to hospital where she was diagnosed to find out that hypatitis had eaten deep into her blood stream. She didn’t last long before she died. This happened when I was barely a year old. Based on this, my father could not forgive himself easily because of it and said he was responsible for her death as he could have saved her if only he had paid attention to the things at home rather than concentrating much on his businesses.
Despite all entreaties by friends and relatives, he refused to remarry but ensured that I had everything that I wanted. It was as a result of this that he made me the next of kin to his fund
deposit with the bank and stated that in the event of any eventuality, I should have a direct access to the fund only when I am 24 years of age otherwise, I should have a guardian/partner intercede on my behalf for the release of the funds to me. Unfortunately, he died late last year and I am 21 years of age currently. This is why I have contacted you to serve as a guardian to me and as my foreign partner for the transfer and investment of the fund overseas My uncles does not know about the fund because they had already taken my father’s houses and other properties because I am a girl and they said I do not have rights for any property. They have requested to have my father’s bank papers but I simply told them that I do not know where he kept them. The younger brother took the house in the village while the houses in the town were sold out they shared the proceed they got from the sale. Right now, I am with a friend of mine and do sincerely want to
travel out of my country. This can only happen when I have secured the release and transfer of the funds in the bank.
This why it is important that we have a plan on the type of lucrative business that we can invest the funds on.
I had at various times had discussions with the director of international remittance unit of the bank where my father deposited the funds and I was assured that once, I have someone who would be willing to receive the funds on my behalf, they shall commence all proceedings to effect the release and transfer of the funds into the person’s designated account. Now, that you have signified your interest to partner with me, it would only be very necessary if you contact the bank and request for the release and transfer of my inheritance fund into your nominated account for the purpose of investment and to further have me come over to your country to continue with my studies.
I shall be giving you the bank’s contact details as soon as I hear back from you so that you will go ahead and contact the bank.
Your urgent response will be appreciated,

Talk to you the more.
Sincerely,
Mariam Abdullah

SP - what I did was to download Mozilla Thunderbird to handle my emails. This is a foc program.

Thunderbird takes a bit of training - for the first few weeks - you need to tell it whether the mail you are getting is " junk ", or not - but after this training period, it blocks 99% of the rubbish.

Give it a try.[:)]

Dear friends please try not to park your car in lonely places in chowkit-haji taib roads. My uncle had ordered a chocolate cake from the swansons bakery there and parked his car to go and have lunch at a stall nearby. When he returned, his car window was shattered and there and the cake was missing. He got very angry and started searching with his car steering lock looking for the fool who did it for almost an hour and found a drug addict with chocolate paste all over his mouth sleeping in a drain.
You can imagine how you will feel if your BMW window got smashed. When he questioned that guy,he said “Saya baru abis makan bubur kat kedai cina”.The cake was meant for my cousins birthday.

Chocolate cake ? - our pal who was on the way to meeting us before leaving for another haruan adventure stopped to buy a few things for our trip.
When he got back to his 4X4, he found that the side window was smashed - and what did they take ? … the GPS holder ! ( the GPS was in his pocket )
Another pal had the same unfortunate incident - what did they take ? - his prepaid tol card.

I am beginning to wonder whether it is safer in the jungle or in the city.[:(]

Oops ! … should have made myself clearer.

It is not what they made off with - they normally have very little time when in the city, and in broad daylight - they break in, and grab whatever they can. Cake, GPS holder, or whatever.

The danger starts when they think that there is something valuable in the car, and where they think that they can rush in, grab, and get away.

The dangerous part is the " They THINK … " part. This can extend to their thinking that females are easier targets, that fisherman alone in a secluded place, etc.

As mentioned many times, the most viable defense starts by trying not to be in such a situation where the results could well lie in how they " Think / perceive. " Take precautions, and be aware at all such times. Don’t wait for it to happen before reacting.

The sad part is that when we do, then all will happen is that they move on, and look for a softer target. We pass our misfortune to somebody else.

In the broader perspective, crime is a likely everyday feature in the society that we live in. We can only all try to help one another be better prepared.

… and that is what Thomas, and many others are trying hard to do. We owe them our thanks, and we should try hard to spread the word.
