what is the diferent between polycarbonate sheet with nonpolycarbonate ?

i buy a clear plastic sheet for my lure project
but i’m not sure the sheet is polycarbonate or not.
it cost me rm 4 for 12 inch x 5 inch.

try bending the sheet. if it snaps, then it’s not PC

bend it downwards and then upwards… if it’s non PC, it will break. I’ve tried on a 2.5mm arcrylic sheet, it breaks just like that

Jagung,

Plastic n Acrylic can and WILL break

i’ve just learn the hard way thinking 2.5mm thick acrylic will not break when the lips is only 12mm long x 8mm wide

Sad that the lure is ruined but the real frustration is when the particular lure is working and u only hv 1 in yr box :((

cool now
already got my polycarbonate mar hehehe
it’s much easier to work on compare to acrylic - all this while of cutting, filing n sanding the much harder/toughter acrylic sheet that breaks…

p/s: the longer u take to arrange for a yumcha session, the smaller piece ur polycarb will become heheheh
