Bro Apek, actually any alien species are bad for me
but i do understand u meant they’re good for my fishing techniques, as most lures we have these days are meant for them rather than our local varieties. But yea, they’re real good softplastic fish

…the rights to brag…
have u caught any during ur outing at EAK bro?
if they’re really there might try one of these days. Do they release in large quantities or just a handful or else no point going. Just wanna try catching one n see wat’s the hype bout black bass

The last time I was there, Nik mentioned that the LMB is not ‘big-size’ yet, more will come. Not the right time to fish them yet.
Will provide more update when i have more info.

Why the F*%@ should he do that? He is only leasing the place and would be returned to the park in the end; leaving all those aliens to propagate and perhaps even spread to other waters that the dam is connected too or when the dam is inundated from heavy rains! Its highly irresponsible in my books!
In FV’s case, its Micheal’s private land so he has the right to do as he pleases, but I still frown upon the introduction of alien species!
Why cant we be proud of our Tapahs, Tomans, Temolehs, Gahaks and other predatory fishes?
RR bro… no one is proud of our natives… esp when everyone thinks tat tilapia is local… they have no idea wat’s local species anyways
well tat aside, FV confirm to have LMB, red tail cats n pacu will be the main attraction apart from them. Tomans would be released too if condition is right… no other local species in sight. Star attraction should b pacus, there’ll be 200k pacu in there for casting pleasure ONLY(master baiters go far far away hahaha). Anyways not everything is bad yet, he said if the LMB project fail, he will release in red tail to anihilate them(alien vs predator style)muahahahaha
as for EAK, PBs are already in there years ago talk bout invasive alien, not to mention tilapia. Pacu too but tat’s another matter as they don’t reproduce tat easily.

For newbies heading to this place. Please look out for the new resident pro’s in Rm5 pond. Our very owm mike and EK. Esp Ek-its fun to see him trash talk and landing fish after fish (as Baba says it, lampam consider a fish a).
Last week was been there, able to catch fish at RM5 pond and unable to catch one fish at Rm30 pond. Maybe diff pond have to use diff bait. I get bullet bait from FV,mix with so powder.
I Must make another trip to FV with my kids…this time more prepared i.e. better tied hooks and proper bait. last trip brought bread n didn’t know how to use it properly so ended up eating the bread as breakfast…hungrier than the fishes in the RM5 pond
Jy@95. just use the dry one and use the long shank hook. Try it on a y-rig with a float..
Kevin, Look out for Mike and EK. they can guide you on the rig and bait presentation. They are the young mans (reverse physiology :P)…fishing there. Here is a hint. They would be landing fish after fish there..
TJS landed plabuk(s) on the stretch dividing big pond and the restaurant pond. Jimmy landed plabuk at the watergate where Michael feed the fishes. Saw quite a few fishes landed from the jetty at the corner. All these places will not give u protection from the sun. Want shade, sit at the Apek bamboo grove. Ada ikan, takde ikan, it depends
Thanks for the advice - but I don’t think that any of us will be bothered by the sun for a few more weeks ya ? Looks more like tarpaulin and rain coat time.
OK - will walk around a bit - and most likely freeload on AC’s bamboo grove position.[:)]
