Bluenose,

I notice they are all in panoramic format - did you crop or was it shot as such?
Look forward to more.

Thanks flicker. I shoot landscapes exclusively with 17-40mm lens and crop the top/bottom as required to emphasise subject matter. Hence the 'panaromic' view.

Flicker,
Brilliant shots especially of fish, mushroom and ikan sepat.

Hi briank, nice shots of flowers. Yes you should go to 90 mile beach. It’s so serene. Best to drive from Te Paki stream and exit the beach at Waipapakauri. Then go to the kauri factory called ā€˜Kauri Kingdom’ where you pay $2 for your car wash. It sprays water underneath your car for 4 minutes to get rid of sand and salt water.
Here’s some shots of flowers, since you like flowers. He he .

Well, at least we now know there’s more to life than fishing [:D] Nice shot of the swan doing yoga and the headless sepats, flicker. I don’t think my friend has many orchids in KL, most of them are back in our hometown Alor Setar, his mum’s place.

Man, you guys are making me regret for not migrating earlier! I miss Life in NZ![:(]

Kevin, Alor Star also can go, we also can go fishing there ma…

I’ll try to contact my friend if he’s free…he sometimes spends days or weeks in the jungle with his students (hence out of mobile coverage)…he’s teaching environmental interpretation in UPM n his students are in high demand from other faculties.

Bluenose

Mine may not be a world class pic.I just took these pics with a hp camera thus not of high quality ones. But Innerzen and Mingmong maybe able to relate to these…

Bluenose, please post a PointChev pic if you have one.Thanks.

Kevin,

This guy you know sound like a person everyone in MFN can learn something from, can organise a talk by him?

Say, we can also start shooting some picture of his orchids in KL first.

bang patin, Very nice shots all the same. It's the person behind the viewfinder rather than the price of the camera that makes the difference between a good and a bad photo. If you have a good and pricy camera but produces more throwaways than keepers than it's the photographer. I will have to dig deep for PT Chev and Herne Bay pictures as they were hard copies from film days. Possibly easier for me to pop over there tomorrow, weather permitting, and take some for you. High tide is in the afternoon so no use bringing a rod there, he he.
