Long time no hear bro,

last time we went to the spot near the mee udang stall…the spot i went yesterday was abit further down and further in from the main road…that spot was cleaned about two months already…but seems like the grass doesn’t grow as fast as i expected like in sg. jebong..but i tell u…the sg jebong tarpon are much bigger but now cannot fly la…all the grass grown up already..any way there some rumour that siakap is one of the resident of sg. oceng (yesterday spot)…bla mau datang?[:D][:D][:D][}:)]

I can see the fishes are coming for air!

nice fish and nice place ,looks a lot like kapar and should have siakap or herring if the water is salty.where is matang anyway?any landmarks ?cheers

subang

salty tilapias take very small charlies but can be picky at times.try small bloodworm flies stripped very fast/slow/fast.if not try small dries/cdc’s.

Bro hfyong,

Matang, is in Perak. if from highway, u can exit at Changkat Jering and go along the old trunk road to butterworth. u will come to a main junction about 3km from changkat jering exit..make a left turn and just follow the main road and u will reach Matang and further up is Kuala Sepetang (old name is Port Weld). if u have interest in history, this is a place u can visit…u can visit Kota Ngah Ibrahim.

Nice photo, nice fish & u make me jeles la bro…since i don’t know how to tie a dry fly…don’t have the material yet. but i did bought some flies from a takcle shop in Bagan Serai…looks like a dry fly with small hooks but never try it. don’t know whether it will float or sink…they just use normal hackle i think. anyone ever use this flies plz give some comment.[:D][:D]
