25 ~ 26 August at Cleawater Sanctuary, Perak.

went there solely for peacock bass fishing and to buy salt baked chicken and enjoy tauge chicken in Ipoh.

Dear trout bum,yes,riverside angler ent is a tackle shop,its my shop at Kota Bharu,kelantan. I’m one of the fly retailer just like tackle box.

next time we go together and stay a night there. very relaxing place and price not that expensive during off-peak period considering the facilities available for patrons.

next trip i’ll try other sections of the lake. i can’t cover the whole lake this time becos i manual-paddling the boat la. the caretaker at the fishing club was on leave.

the section i fished in, seems that the peacock bass is famined i.e. perut kecik dan kurus.

Bro Razor,i’m using zonker fly for the pacu.But you have to berley with bread first before u fish.

Bro yocox,I use Mustad circle hook #4,tie a bit of the hook shank for tail,about 1" and the rest just spin on the hook shank.All the way up to the eye.That it!!Very simple fly to tie. Try to use circle hook so that u don’t have to use wire.

from US… many fly fishing shop has it. this magnetic net release device costs me rm50+ after conversion.

Bro sauleh,I was using my friend Gloomis,gl3 wt7.That reel is Ross Canyon.You need at least Wt5 there to stop the pacu.
