The flight were on early morning of 1.15am of 22nd August 2008… after more than 7 hours of flight in a strong turbulence wind conditions… we landed Incheon international Air port at Korea local time of 9am…

Now… this is the torturing part..We have to wait for 12 hours for the transit to Mongolia… So… what did we do..? sit, walk, eat, sleep, ****, eat, walk, sit…walk, eat, sleep… again and again… boring…

You can see… I really don’t know how to tell you… how suffering the 12 hours …
After 12 long hours…

Immediately… we can feel the chill… the wind was really cold…
Takei San picked us up and we were putting a night in a small apartment…
Next morning…

Our first day journey to Chuluut river start with 12 hours of bumpy ride… stop half way for our lunch…

The fried noodle with mutton… only Wei Loong can finish…
After 12 hours… we reach a small town call Tsetserleg… where we camp at the river side, where we still have another 6-7 hours bumpy ride to be continue tomorrow…

This is my first night camping in Mongolia country side… it was so cold that night… at 2.30am, Nick and my self were awake by the extremely cold weather… at 3 degree Celsius… I put on few layers of cloth and my wind breaker, still shivering.. alone… I wake up and went to the camp fire, lite it up and continue warm my self sitting just feet away from the fire…until the day break..
During that few hours… I miss my home… the nasi lemak… really…
That morning…on 24th August

The journey…

Lots of time our 4x4 were break down… just have to get use with it lah…
Finally… after hours of ride, stop, pee at road side, **** at the open grass land… hehehe… belum lagi lah…
sabarlah… it took us more than 18 hours to reach there… so.. you guys at lease have to wait 18 minute lah… hehehe..
Got to show you this… how Mongolian kill a goat…

Finally…

We reach the spot in the late afternoon…

Only with few hours before the day get dark…

My first Grayling and Lenoks… on first day..

The fly… a nymph that looks like a larva..

25th August… our first day full time fishing…
The night… was raining… so cold… we get frost on floor every where… and snow on the other side mountain…
It was raining the whole morning till noon… with wind that freezzzz your bone…

5 of us… trying our best…

Grayling caught on dry fly…

The similar fly… in Dun colour match the hatch that day…
Beautiful </font id=“red”>country!
I think when you see where you’re fishing, you will tend to forget…for a little while anyway, the suffering you had to go thru to get there, right???
Anyway, I can see Nick wearing my jacket. Boo hoo…my jacket’s been to Mongolia and I haven’t… [:p]
26th August…
The night before was extreme cold with heavy rain and strong wind… our tent were leaked and we were soaking wet in the middle of the night… tracking from the thermometer… a record of -1 degree Celsius by the early morning about 5am…
I was on 6 layer of cloths with double sleeping bags… one of the sleeping bag were suppose to be able to take extreme -3 degree Celsius… yet… still cold cos the wet condition in the tent…
Early morning… as usual… frost on ground, on our tents and our shoes and bags were fill with ice… we had our first ice blended coffee that morning..with ice from the frost… ( just joking..!)

That day… the sun came to visit us… it was the only day that we were able to fish whole day under warm of the loving sun and breeze… a perfect day of fishing…
