dun worry. i know this first hand.
from last december until april this year i makan telur all the way… but i try n try for months… finally broke the duck. now almost all the time no telur dy. haha.
So weng..it is interesting if u cud share wif us wat choice have made?

As for reel, I finally bought the bigger size baitrunner DL4000 FA. Same model as my current 2500 size as I like the baitrunner very much. Locally very difficult to find the 4000 size, so I bought from ebay UK. Taking advantage of the week Pound everything all in cost about RM350 to my door step. Cheaper than the 2500 size I bought from Kepong Tackle which is RM390 (now selling cheaper RM375 I think)
For the rod, very tempted to buy the Conolon, but it is a 1 piece rod. Finally I bought a 6’ Eupro Cyclone 10-20lbs jigging rod from SS2. Cheap cheap around RM80. The 1st time I fish with this rod, 7 hook ups, but only landed 2. The 2nd time 5 hookup, and landed zero [:(]. I think the rod is too stiff. Last Tuesday change back to the old 6’ Bassterra EV, got 3 hookup and landed all 3 tongsan total 20kg. So yesterday, I went to Kepong Tackle to buy a longer 7’ Bassterra EV for RM195.
So, I now have 2 setup of same model baitrunner + bassterra. 1 is smaller size 2500 + 6’ rod for usual fishing, the other heavier setup 4000 + 7’ rod when I join the competition. hahaha I’m not adventurous to try new things I guess
This is the relatively cheaper version of shimano setup. If budget permits, would have got the baitrunner B or D + the Bassterra (blue 1st version) or Bassterra XT 7’
