i don’t remember passing Nirvana Memorial. Anyway, we take kesas heading towards kajang/semenyih. Join to Kajang silk highway and head towards semenyih. Exit at semenyih and head towards town area. You should pass BHP on your left and reach a traffic light. There’s a mosque on your right opposite the road at the traffic lights. make a left and go straight. a long straight road. you will see a petrol station with a brand never heard off on ur left. further up on the right there is a sign board for shop lots for sale. Thinks its call haneko or sumthing like tat. turn right and go straight till the end of the road. there is a dirt track on the left. you shld see the pond by then.

Ha! BB5, Jerry, so you guys have finally found the pleasure of Fish valley over the bangi one. What took you guys so long? It was more than two months ago that I told you guys about this pond? ANND why never call me to come along wan? [:(!][xx(]
Anyway me and some HuKah clan members enjoy this place almost everyweek except the last month bcos of election fever, Tow Foo fever and my sudden many overseas trip fever hehe. Just came back from Bangkok for a business trip, managed to steal 3/4 of a day and went for Pla Buk fishing and finally landed a 40kgs.
I see F V as a Tow Foo 5 years ago but better in its set up and enviroment. The Boss Lee really put in efforts and investment to do up the place. He told me yesterday that he added another 700 pla buk to its current 300 to the pond and challenged me to hook up one (on bite). He then took a treble set up and hooked up one pla buk for me to fight for a while, a 4 or 5 kg one landed.
We should be there this weeekend, want to meet up?

Tumpang thread.
The plabuks there are darn shy to take the baits…they’ll rise to the surface left right and center but not taking any baits. The rohus there are nice to fight and black carp’s there are impressive. Here’s an almost 9-10kg (rough estimation) black carp i landed on last sunday.

Nice… must be hell of a fight. Maybe leo & james also can put up the black carp pic? [:D]
Hi all
Didnt realise that this place is famous as I’ve been stay somewhere around here for quite sometime, been there once and the place was impressed. Will drop by to FV again soon.

Managed to hook up a fat a** plabuk last sat…me and my friend rotated few rounds pumping the fish back. The guy just dashed from 1 end to the other within a minute time. Using ultra light tackle with a 1-6lbs rod and 500 series reel causing our arm to sore like hell after landed this biggie.
The bugger even poo-ed on my shirt while i was hugging it for photo shoot.
Great catch!! What did you use? dedak + santan oil?
Dunno how he did it - but at least the Pla Buk still look in reasonable condition even though they appear to be on a diet up till now.
Going back to try again next week. [:p]

Yellow hong + bomb powder + leftover chipsmore biscuit + rohu oil.
We were aiming for the rohus and pacus but this biggie decided to take the bait. Just a lucky shot as no more bites from them after that.

mata tiga definately a no no over there…the owner was by our side when we landed the fish…would’ve gotten screwed big time if we were playing with mata tiga
Thanks for the tip - will try it even though you did not get another hit. I can imagine that there will soon come a day when they jump out to bite somebody ! [:D]
" the owner was by our side when we landed the fish "
Yeah - I also found Mr. Lee an extremely friendly and helpful guy. [^]
To all the sifus here, i see all of you managed to land big a** fish here and frankly i’ve tried sri petaling and even kg kemensah without much luck and as all beginner, i had to ask myself this question, is it my luck or is it my equipment?
i use the dedak that the operator sells at these pay pond. i’ve had better luck at Malacca pay pond and at Star Cruise paypond but just that’s using prawns.
what hooks and lines do you guys use to reel these fish to shore.. just really curious.. and sorry if i ask a silly question here.. thanks

Quoting from bigfish5, i dont recall Kesas Highway leading to Kajang / Semenyih actually. i plan to go there next weekend? Kesas leads from Port Klang to Zoo Negara direction right?
Thanks
apocalypse - Welcome to MFN - spend a bit of time to look at all the threads - there are big differences depending on WHERE you want to fish, and WHAT you are targeting for - there is no one single answer possible !
This particular thread is about a pond in Semenyih - and I was there between 0900 - 1300 today. No, you do not want to know what I did - only got 2 small fellas who would not have looked out of place in an aquarium.[:o)]
Take the highway past Cheras / Phoenix Plaza, and continue to Semenyih. After reaching Semenyih, look for a police station on your left( there will be a mosque on your right ), and turn left - this takes you onto a road that leads to Tekala / Sg. Tekali / Nirwana Memorial / Sekuda Resort, Semenyih Reservoir, and also back to Ulu Langgat.
Go along this road for a few km and look out for a turning to your right - Haneco Industrial Park or something like that. Be careful, this turning can be missed very easily.
Go straight in - and take the dirt road at the end - you cannot miss the ponds.
If you want to be sure - go to Google Maps.
All the best [:)]
Thanks for the direction, i’ll prob try this pond coming weekend. I’ve tried other ponds like the one in Star Cruise and Malacca, not too bad, landing 1kg plus of Siakap and some Taiwan Ngo - not sure if the name is correct but that’s what the local called it.
But with Sri Petaling and Kg Kemensah, the smaller fish is nibbling but not the biggies… perhaps it’s just luck right..
Sifu’s when you guys add in santan oil / rohu oil, where do you guys get these ‘secret’ ingredients?
Anyone going next weekend - 31st May?
Thanks
I’ve noticed the bite rate on hong is slowing down…if you wanna try out fish valley better prepare more bread. If the biggies are not biting you can at least layan the tilapias.
I was there on monday and only managed to land an average sized rohu that give a decent fight and a few small grass carps. Noticed the grass carps has some red dots on their body. I suspect the water condition is not quite right causing the bite rate to drop tremendously.
