Bro Jeff… Yet to know whether going or not, but will try my best loh… Just with some ‘fu look’ luck for me to kena snakehead, champion is belongs to Fung’s Brothers…

Not Champion lah…also ‘fu look’ than baru can get hook up…hopefully today can go after my whole day sales meeting…Is true the snakehead immuned with all our doggie,froggy,top water and diving lures. Let’s try the SP, I find it very effective and alot of varieties of presentation.

hmmm… just coming back from casting… in kota marudu.. i try my ‘janggut’ lure and there was strike, but no hook up… still no luck this time around… the froggy doesn’t being strike by any of the snakehead there… only being follow by some tiny snakehead…

About the type of lures used for the snakehead in KK, so far we found top water lures are most effective (poppers, froggies, walkbaits, pencils), shallow hard body lures are also not bad. Jerkbaits, not sure which one are you refering, but i have tried using Lucky Craft Wander lure (is this a jerkbait?) got strike but no hook up yet. Now we starting to use soft plastics and surprisingly it is effective and deadly! Spinnerbaits and spoon also produce snakehead. Heck! With the right rodmovement you’ll be able to move the bait side to side, which is very attractive for the Northern Pike, which is the king of fresswater fishes in Sweden.

They only keep line class records for Channa sp, which means the line classes are all filled with C. micropeltes. The various snakehead species are only listed in the All Tackle Category.

Haruan record (C. striata) is 3.5kg’s.

Vincent bro… In that case I might just say none IGFA record for snake head, so please plan ur schedule and come over to KK. If we can’t get snakehead, we stil got plan B go for Amber Chia Fewer either kampung 2leged snakehead. Hahahaaaa… I think Tembaring or Badus bro will give u the correct ans for Snakehead IGFA record. What a waste missed twice chances in meeting u. Hopefully I won’t miss any trip again to Twu for BB or China Dolls also not bad…hahaha

So we get to meet more guys then for snakehead in KK than Tawau? I gotta feeling Marlin is set to go and then probably we can have our family meet us later at Karambunai for some R&R also.

fuhh… nice record for the IGFA. but hence i still had to prove my 1st strike on this snakehead.. surely will post it here if i got it. i think maybe a lot of anglers in sabah will turn to snakehead hunter too…

Got 3 strikes using SP but no hook up..You can park your vehicle right next to pond via entrance by the bridge near LoK Yuk Secondary School.
