Jeff bro…

Got a suggestion, instead of casting at the usual spot at the bamboo pond, try casting along the longkang which connects to the bamboo pond, might have bigger one hiding somewhere…

wow…! that surely had 90% of chances to get strike and hook up… is there any jerkbait sold in k.k fishing shop? badushunter, in fact i just call you Fung, can do right? do ever use those jerkbait? yesterday really2 ‘geram’ with the snakehead, got strike but just dont hook up! and i will try other places in k.b for the snakehead this coming 22 of august. surely want to try some arrigation supply water to the paddy field. seems like a place to find ‘jalak’ too. thanks for the info fung.

ya loh… will try it later… but haruans there macam cleaver liao, sometimes they wont really ‘eat’ the lure when they attack, they just give a test bite to the lure… i’ll try not to pull back the lure fast after they ‘test bite’ nextime, see what will happend… hahahah![:D] really challenging now to fish them… hhahahah!

maybe you should try 2 way to hooked up the haruans…
some one teach me B4 1) when it strike.. loose the line.. let it go for few second… then tight the line and pump it… 2) dun wait! direct give it a hard pump when it strike! but the 2nd option seem like too much depend to luck hahahahah!![:D]

Yeow Bro... any good news from Kudat? Hope to fish with you one day. My idea for KB river is stil with high hope as I have ever seen Kuala Abai's rest house kept 2 live great barramundi on their cage, its definatly huge n guaranteed more than 3feets giant. We are looking for contacts on renting boat to that river. Can u help us on it?

i will try get some contact from there, because my uncle often fishing there too. he seems to have a lot of friends around there. will try you to get some contact, but not promising, i try my best. about kudat trip, we spend the whole night fishing at kimihang. caught some MJ and 1 species of shark there, very pitty cannot get some photo from that trip. 1 of my friend get a strike around 5 am and the reel just giving out the line, it last about 5 second and then, snap! we get 3 strike like that and all snap within second. some of them say that it must be the “titir” fish that got sharp teeth. we only fish at the shore and jetty there.
about barramundi in kuala abai surely it’s got a numerous record! the largest caught on line is 40 kg above!!! jeff, if you want to know or seen the barra caught on tape, you try to find the kingfisher edition that had the cd of barramundi, the episode is 32 “raja muara sambas” surely with that cd you’ll know why anglers like to hook up with those species! i never caught the barra, but i know it’s a good fighter bro… my rod also break in two when i try to hook a strike. ;o(
